May 1,2,3 Birthday party

May is an active month for birthdays in our family.  Four people have birthdays if I am counting correctly.  Three of them are back to back on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.  We had a party to celebrate these girls and their lives.

1st Grade Awards Day

McKenzie’s class hosted awards day on May 25th. Ms. Vivian and Ms. Sam had helped the kids prepare something to read for their parents to tell us what they had learned during 1st grade. Each child read to us what they remembered about 1st grade and explained the picture that accompanied it. Ms. Viv and Ms. Sam also spoke about their favorite parts of the year.

Fun at Pee Paw’s

A Sunday afternoon with all the cousins’ kids can almost start a ball team.  Aaron hosted batting practice a few weeks ago.  Being Scots/Irish, waiting for their turns was a bit challenging for the little kids.  The big kids handled it a little better, but waiting is still hard.

The youngest two of the bunch are die hards when it comes to batting.  They refused to give up their turns without a fight.  It is fun to watch them learn how to cooperate together.
